Awwwards
Awwwards is the biggest and most popular CSS Award Website. It was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in Valencia, Spain.
Nomination process: In the first phase of the nomination process, web designers submit their work through Awwwards’ website for consideration for Site of the Day. The work is then judged by the Awwwards community and an international jury panel composed of designers, developers, and agencies. The best daily sites are also published in Awwward’s year-end “The 365 Best Websites Around the World” book.
In the second voting phase, the Site of the Month is chosen. Site of the Month winners proceeds to the final judging phase of the competition: Site of the Year. This award is given out at the Awwwards conference and prize-giving ceremony.
The cost: $55 USD per site submission, or $165 USD for a yearly membership with one free submission.
The deadline: Year-round, applications always open.
CSS Design Awards
CSS Design Awards is an International Web Design and Development Awards platform that honors and recognizes the best solo web designers, studios and agencies around the world for holistic web design that balances creativity, functionality, and usability into a seamless user experience.
Nomination process: When sites are submitted, the submitter is asked to choose one of the predefined categories to ensure they are competing against similar sized creatives. Submissions should include a high-quality screenshot and accurate information including a correct email address to receive notifications about your submission. Sites must be complete and the work must be original.
The cost: USD 30 per submission.

CSSWinner
CSS Winner is an international platform awarding best designs on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. The main evaluation criteria are design, user experience, creativity, and content. All winners get exposure on the website and through social media networks and obtain a CSS Winner certificate.
Nomination process: The main jury consists of nine designers from all over the world, and 80% of the total ranking for each website takes the opinion of those designers. The community can also participate and vote – their opinion is taken into consideration as 20% of the total ranking.
The cost: Submissions will be charged $9 (USD). Rejected submissions will get a refund.

CSS REEL

Favourite Website Awards (FWA)
FWA was established in May 2000 as Favourite Website Awards, in England, UK.
FWA is where you go to experience cutting-edge innovation in digital design and development. It’s a space that encourages the digital industry to push the boundaries of technology, to show people what is possible.
Nomination process: FWA accepts websites, online games and online movies/animation for nominations. The main criteria are creativity, originality, design, and content. FWA has an international team of over 300 judges (150+ men and 150+ women), from over 35 countries, who vote daily on submitted projects. Submitted projects can be watched live, in judging, just follow the “Live Judging” link in the menu.
